1. Ownership of Platform and Content
1.1 Platform Ownership — Streamonweb
The Saraswati IAS Application — including all software, source code, streaming infrastructure, mobile applications (Android and iOS), web portals, video players, administrative dashboards, databases, encoding pipelines, CDN delivery infrastructure, APIs, and all underlying technology — is exclusively built, owned, and operated by Streamonweb. No part of the technology platform belongs to Saraswati IAS or any other entity. The Application is provided to Saraswati IAS and its users on an as-a-service basis; no technology ownership is transferred to any client, user, or third party.
1.2 Content Hosted on the Platform — No User Rights
All content accessible through the Saraswati IAS Application — including video lectures, recorded sessions, live streams, study materials, text content, course notes, images, graphics, audio recordings, PDFs, documents, and question banks — is hosted exclusively on Streamonweb's servers, CDN infrastructure, encoding systems, and storage, and is made available to you as part of a proprietary technology service. Whether any particular content is owned by Streamonweb or by Saraswati IAS (the institution), as between Streamonweb and you, all content on this platform is proprietary and you acquire no right, title, or interest in any of it.
By accessing this Application, you unconditionally acknowledge and agree that:
- You acquire no ownership, copyright, title, or proprietary interest in any content by virtue of accessing, watching, or subscribing;
- You are granted a strictly personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to access and view content solely for your own individual educational purposes during your active, paid subscription period;
- You have no right to download, screen-record, capture, copy, print, reproduce, redistribute, upload, rebroadcast, share, sell, sublicence, or commercially exploit any content from this Application in any form or by any means;
- Any such unauthorised act constitutes an infringement of intellectual property rights, is an offence under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, and may result in civil and criminal liability including claims for damages of no less than INR 5,00,000 per incident.
1.3 Intellectual Property of the Platform — Streamonweb
All intellectual property rights in the Application's technology and infrastructure vest exclusively in Streamonweb (STREAMONWEB.COM). This includes without limitation:
- All software, source code, object code, algorithms, and application logic;
- All mobile applications (Android and iOS), web portals, streaming players, and APIs;
- All CDN infrastructure, encoding pipelines, servers, storage systems, and delivery networks;
- All trademarks, service marks, domain names, logos, and brand identities associated with Streamonweb;
- All databases, data models, and data structures underlying the Application.
Nothing in your use of this Application transfers any intellectual property right to you. For complete IP terms, see Section 4 of Streamonweb's Legal Terms & Conditions.
1.4 App Hosting, Developer Account, and Absolute Non-Transferability
The Saraswati IAS Application is published and hosted exclusively under Streamonweb's own developer account(s) on the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and any other distribution platform. This is non-negotiable and non-transferable. Specifically:
- No transfer of developer account: Neither Saraswati IAS nor any end user nor any third party has any right to request or demand that the application listing be transferred to any other developer account, organisation, individual, or platform. Any such request has no legal force and Streamonweb is under no obligation to act on it.
- Embedded security data: The Application contains embedded server configurations, API authentication credentials, encryption keys, CDN parameters, streaming infrastructure identifiers, and other security-sensitive technical data that are part of Streamonweb's shared infrastructure serving multiple clients. Transferring, disclosing, or extracting these components would directly compromise the security of other Streamonweb clients. Accordingly, the Application cannot be transferred, rehosted, or re-published under any other developer account by any party other than Streamonweb.
- No handover of APK, source code, or any component: Streamonweb will not under any circumstances provide the APK file, IPA file, source code, build files, signing certificates, keystore, API keys, server credentials, design files, database exports, or any other technical component of the Application to Saraswati IAS, any end user, or any third party — whether during the service relationship or after its conclusion.
- On termination or discontinuation: If Saraswati IAS discontinues the service or Streamonweb terminates it for any reason, Streamonweb will unpublish and take down the Application from all app stores and distribution platforms. Nothing will be handed over to Saraswati IAS or any third party. The Application will simply cease to be available. Streamonweb shall not be liable for any consequence of this takedown.
- No reverse engineering: Any attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, extract, or replicate the Application or any of its components is a criminal offence under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and an infringement under the Copyright Act, 1957.
For the complete legal terms on this subject, see Section 17 of Streamonweb's Legal Terms & Conditions.

If Saraswati IAS's service agreement with Streamonweb lapses, is terminated, or is suspended for any reason, Streamonweb may suspend or discontinue the Application and your access to content without individual notice to you. Streamonweb bears no liability for any disruption to your learning arising from Saraswati IAS's failure to maintain its service agreement.

With Your Consent: We may disclose your personal information for any other purpose with your prior express consent.

8.1 Credential Sharing Prohibition: Your account and login credentials are personal to you and must not be shared with any other person. Each account is for a single registered user only. Simultaneous logins from multiple devices using the same credentials may result in automatic session termination. Any unauthorised access resulting from your sharing of credentials is entirely your responsibility. Account sharing is a breach of these terms and may result in permanent account suspension without refund.
8.2 Watermarking and Content Identification: Streamonweb embeds visible and/or invisible digital watermarks, session fingerprints, or content identification markers in video streams and recorded content delivered through the Application. These markers may contain your user ID, device information, IP address, and session timestamp to identify the source of any unauthorised recording or redistribution. By accessing content, you consent to such watermarking. The presence of a watermark or fingerprint constitutes evidence of origin in any legal proceedings for copyright infringement. Any screen-recording, capture, or redistribution of watermarked content is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

- Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data
- Erase personal data no longer necessary for the purpose collected, subject to legal retention obligations
- Nominate an individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity
- Withdraw Consent at any time (withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing)
